Ember, the fourth production of Gravity Ballet by Eve Yu, interprets the enduring flame through dance, inviting us to ponder whether life in our darkest moments fades away or finds a way to rekindle.

The talented dancers will perform Eve’s choreography alongside the second and third acts of the classic Swan Lake. Live music and visuals will infuse the dance with emotion and energy, enhancing the connection between the dancers and the audience. We are excited to feature Etienne Ferrere, the former principal dancer of the Singapore Ballet, who will present his choreography for this world premiere in Hong Kong.

The unextinguished flame symbolizes the potential for both exhaustion and renewal in our power. In times of despair and helplessness, we embrace the wounds that may either heal or persist, allowing ourselves to reignite like embers.
