About Miss Karine
A Hong Kong local, miss Karine graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance degree. Majoring in Ballet, Dance Pedagogy and Choreography, she was awarded various scholarships including the Ohel Leah Synagogue Charity Undergraduate Scholarship.
Having worked with numerous renowned choreographers, she especially holds the work with Yuri Ng, Anh Ngoc Nguyen, Stephanie Lake and Ricky Hu Songwei as some of her favourite experiences in dance.
With a strong focus on education studies, miss Karie has a passion for teaching dance to those who want to learn. With over 6 years of Ballet teaching experience, she is a freelance dancer who is exploring herself through performing, as well as teaching and choreographing original pieces for keen students to discover and excel in dance.
Aside from dancing, miss Karine also likes to express herself through other mediums of art including singing, drawing and writing. A real homebody, she finds great solace in sitting by the sea and watching the crashing waves to soothe her nerves and bring tranquillity to her soul.
